Lappland Goldminers breaks ground at the Fäboliden Gold Project See panorama

The court proceedings at the Supreme Environmental Court, for a permit to establish a new mine and processing plant at Lappland Goldminer’s “flagship”, Fäboliden, were completed today May 28, after two days of proceedings. The Supreme Environmental Court will announce the findings on September 3.

The second phase of core drilling at Lagbäcken, 5 diamond drill holes and 500 meters, has started. The purpose with the drill program is to follow the lead-silver mineralization toward north, in relation to core drillings reported in press release at May 5, 2008.

An extensive program of rock chip and bottom till sampling has begun in Tjålmträsk-Krutträsk area south of Sorsele. The program has been initialized by the gold mineralized sections that were encountered in the core drilling program performed 2007 and the geophysical anomalies from the survey that were performed last summer. Core drilling has begun East of Gubbträsk in an area where lead-silver mineralized boulders were encountered earlier (see press release 28th August 2007).

The court proccedings with the environmental authorities for a permit to establish a new mine and processing plant at Lappland Goldminer’s “flagship”, Fäboliden, were completed on October 25, after a total of 5 days of proceedings. The Environmental Court will announce the findings on December 21.

The proceedings for a mine and process plant at Fäboliden will begin at the Environmental Court at October 17th. The proceedings is planned to be completed before October 31th.

Diamond drilling has started at Gubbträsk, comprises 22 holes and 2 200 metres. The drilling is according to the program for 2007.
2007-08-15
In line withe the drilling program for 2007, diamond drilling comprises 17 holes and 2 900 metres has started at the Knaften gold project.
2007-07-06
A new drilling program has started in Sandviksträsk. The program is based on results from earlier drilling which identified gold anomalous zones.
